So I'm starting work on Tuesday @ LPL Financial Services in their Alternative Investments. Fun fun! This weekend I went out to try to get some new work clothes because of course what is the first thing a girl thinks about when pondering a new event? Shopping! I didn't end up buying anything but I do have enough for now since I have worked in an office before. There is just something about shopping that is so innate that getting something new just seems natural!

I'm so happy for Chris, he decided to take a job with Yardi in Santa Barbara which I think he will really enjoy! It is an awesome opportunity. We both think its a great start. I am so stoked for him ~ beeming with happiness.

Vince came down for the weekend to hang with Chris. Sounds like they had a fun weekend. They went to the Padres game then to PB.

This evening Vince, Chris and myself pulled weeds from our front yard. My fingers are a little sore from it. I even wore gloves!

So I have another interview today at 10am. It is with LPL Financials in La Jolla, right across from UTC mall. I am going to make my way to Macy's to pay my bill afterwards.

What a tiring day, I spent the day interviewing again. Oh joy! Hopefully I'll decide what I want to do with my time in the next few days or so. I was so busy today that I totally forgot to eat lunch! That almost never happens - forget food! ME?

Thankfully I was able to have a somewhat relaxing weekend & spend some quality time with Blaine and Ralph.

This evening we caught a glimpse of the new INXS "reality" show. Interesting. I don't see how a woman can front that band though. Did you know that Michael Hutchence attended my highschool, King George the Fifth? He actually visited a few times while I was there.

So my girl Kelly Monaco won Dancing with Stars! haha Before I even saw her dance I was like, "oh, Sam from GH! I want to see her do well." After she got absolutely ripped by the judges I thought, gee I better vote to keep her on. So I voted with my phone, chris' phone, the house phone and even signed up for an abc account to put in my e-mail vote. I voted the first 2 weeks. But after the 3rd week forgot to. Turns out she didn't need my help in the end anyway because she ended up winning the whole thing! Though I do feel like John and Charlotte were awesome dancers. The best thing about that show was seeing Trista get booted first.

Girls just wanna have fun! I downloaded that song after Cyn reminded me of Aubergines. I had the best time possible! Best friend-cyn, boyfriend-blaine, great people-sadie, cari, eddie+2, fun music, great atmosphere, drinks. What more can you ask for? I have to try to see Cyn more often.



I got a phone call from Sasha who thought my birthday was the 7th of July. She got mine mixed up with Brenda, our RA from freshman year. It was nice to hear from her though.

I got an e-card from Natalie from Australia. She's my bestfriend from highschool. That meant a lot to me! We never forget each other's bday!

Currently I have been experiencing the tedium of job searching. Applying and applying and applying and interviewing and interviewing. Blah! Anyway, as for my eBay business, I have had for the first time had a complaint from Canada. Some customer wants their shipping payment refunded since they got charged a tax from the Canadian customs. Complaints complaints! I wish they understood that it has nothing to do with me!! Funny, I have been having dreams that I would recieve my first negative feedback. I guess they were some sort of prophecy.

Today I found out that Sean and Jackie of D building are married! I saw their wedding pics on friendster (which I check once every 4 months). Very sweet.

Last night when Blaine and I got home from the gym Diane and Chris were sitting at our front door waiting. They were in the area today. Blaine cooked up some turkey burgers and hot dogs. It was a fun evening.

What an awesome weekend! Cynthia, Sadie and Cari came to visit me in San Diego for my birthday and the 4th of July. It was awesome! Very tiring, but loads of fun. Those girls are so much fun! The first night for my birthday Cyn, Sadie, and Cari met Blaine, Kevin & myself at Casa Guadalajara in Old Town for some mexican food and loud mariachi music. Then we came home and had some delic chocolate cake with ice cream -which we enjoyed throughout the weekend. (thanks to blaine) Afterwards I opened my presents. I always feel so self conscious when I open presents! Anyway, Sunday morning Blaine and I made breakfast for the girls and then the girls headed and I headed out to La Jolla Shores. Their rental car provided some laughs, "prrb prrb." We tanned for a few hours then had lunch in downtown La Jolla. For dinner we went to San Diego's one street Little Italy. Afterwards he had a super fun night of dancing @ Aubergines where we met up with Sadie's friends. I had 8 shots that night, not a good idea.
