Blaine & Dorothy's USD graduation was fun.

At the commencement I arrived alone and sat alone but I had a blast. Blaine was able to spot me way up in the stands. I clapped and screamed/cheered for him as loud as I possibly could. I'm so proud of him!

Afterwards we ran into a few people at their reception. We then went to Dorothy's graduation lunch at Easy Buffet. I have to say, that was a really sweet & touching experience. I loved seeing Timothy, Aunty Cynthia and Uncle Simon talk about Dorothy's experience. I was also very touched by Dorothy's graduation speech. I seriously had to break out the tissues! Also, Dorothy graduated with the honor of the order of the coif! Congrats to her!! yay!

Sunday we (Blaine, Chris, Kristin, Christophe & myself) headed to Dorothy's BBQ pool party at her apartment complex from about 5:30pm to 11:00pm. She invited a lot of ppl and about 50 people RSVPed. Lots of yummy food and a great time too. It was so nice of her to invite us.

Today Blaine, Chris and Christophe took Ralph to dog beach.

Christophe was saying that most people in their adult life, their voice / accents don't change much. He says that my voice is completely different, my accent is so american now. I got a kick out of that. I can still speak with my old accent -- actually I usually will if I'm around people with accents especially highschool friends.

Last night Blaine and I met up with Scott, Rachel, Mike, Kim, Crystal and Gregg for Scott's bday. We had dinner in Little Italy at this restaurant called Filipis. It was pretty good. The interesting thing is that they have one on Mira Mesa right by our house which we've never tried. Their meatball sandwich looked very good. I had Lasagne and some of Blaine's food (salad, soup, garlic bread, ravioli and chicken parmesagne), plus some of the cheese from Rachel and Crystals salad. I don't know what kind of cheese that was but it was good! Ralph would have loved it.

Today Christophe arrives in LA from Australia. He was childhood friends with Chris. I think they should be arriving home soon. Chris went to pick him up from the airport. I am hoping to get my workout out of the way so I can get a few things done. This weekend is going to busy with graduation stuff.

On Friday the 20th Blaine took me to the USD law school grad party in Coronado. It was a semi-formal event so I got to dress up and I also got to see Blaine in a suit again. It was so much fun! Open bar from 6:30 to 7:30 then our 3 course meal followed by dancing. Everyone had a blast.

This coming Saturday is the actual commencement ceremony.

Christophe is coming to visit Chris for a few days. He's our friend from highschool. He's french but from Australia and his father worked at the university that my dad is the dean. So he went to our highschool King George the V!

As for reality TV, Sergio won the Contender. I thought he would. Blaine called that one too. I can't believe NBC is not bringing The Contender back for another season! It is probably the most entertaining show as far as those go!

I officially closed my eBay store today! They SUCK! It sucks when your auctions do better than your store, whats the point of having a store then?

Nicole arrived in San Diego yesterday!! Becky picked her up and Blaine and I met up with them along with Dan, Crystal and Gregg. We had dinner and drinks at Cafe Coyote. It was a good time.

I'm really irate right now. I feel like I just got hit by 2 bricks. I received another f--king letter from the damn Walters Management homeowners assocation. I swear, I really feel like they are harrassing us. The letter dated the 17th of May is a 'friendly' reminder that "YOUR LAWN NEEDS GENERAL MAINTENANCE. PLEASE REMOVE THE WEEDS FROM THE PLANTER BED." What a pain in the ass. Who is it that keeps complaining to the homeowners association? Why can't they come over to us first? And the thing that gets me that that this is dated 2 days after the gardeners came over to do a large clean up, so actually there are no weeds anymore.

The other reason I am pretty pissed right now is because I just got an e-mail from ebay. They're freaking idiots I swear to god. They just removed one of my listing for being illegal. Illegal.. yah right! I was trying to sell a handbag which I listed last night. When I woke up this morning I already had a bid on it going for $120.00 plus $15.00 and I had 4 other people watching my item. So for them to just remove it really ticks me off. They removed my account and notified all bidders then warned me that my account will be suspended if anymore such activity continues. Huh? What? Am I reading that correctly? What did I do wrong? What jerks! I'm so annoyed that I sent them this little message:

"Why was my item removed? I read the reasons on why certain
listings are removed and have not yet found why mine was taken off. I have
found several handbags of the exact same on ebay. Why was mine removed?
Did I not provide enough information or what? I want a clearer
explanation not some generic blurb so I don't feel like I was unfairly
targeted. Otherwise I will just start spreading the word about how horrible you
guys treated me. I have 100% feedback and have never done anything
wrong on ebay."

Like that will really do anything but still, I needed to vent. The funny thing is if they now suspended my account. Whatever. Jerks!!!!! Right now I really hate ebay...

My biceps, hamstrings and abs are really sore from the last 2 days of working out. Monday: Cardio + kickboxing, Tuesday, Cardio + weights. I've getting back into strength exercises! I had only been doing cardio for the last 2 weeks since I was feeling slightly under the weather. Tonight Blaine and I are going to do the spinning class.

On Friday I went with the Aunty Kitty, Uncle Pete, Eric and Uncle Pete's mother up to USC to attend Bobby's film school graduation where we met up with Chris who was came up from Santa Barbara. Afterwards we went to the reception where I had a giant peanut butter cookie. We had dinner at The Grove at a restaurant called Wood Ranch BBQ Grill. Pretty good food, we had Prime Rib, Baby back ribs, tri-tip, fries, salad, sweet mashed potatoes, backed beans, garlic bread, clam chowder, and baked potatoes. It was a long 12 hour day trip! Congrats to Bobby on his achievement!

Saturday Blaine and I went to North County Mall followed by The Wild Animal Park. It was very warm but enjoyable as always. We got to see a lot of baby animals, my favorite being the 2 IBEX we saw in the animal care area. They had some new insects and spiders but unfortunately it appeared as though the infant bird eating spider was not in his tank for viewing. We saw an adult one last summer and it was the coolest thing.

Sunday the gardener came over to pull weeds. $280 for a one time deal. They spent about 4 hours on it. A tad bit disappointing but still a big job done nonetheless. I was expecting a little more for 280 dollars but it does seem as though they spent a long time outside and it does look markedly different.

As for 'reality' TV, Tom won Survivor Palua. Anyone but that Katie girl would have been okay by me. Amazing Race, Uchenna and Joyce.. that was an exciting finale. I had to stand up because they were making me so nervous. I think I would have stiffed the cabby and just made a run for it. But they won anyway, so its all good.

This coming week is he finale for Apprentice, that show is always such an anti-climax. It's really quite bad. It's a decent show with a bad ending.

So the gardener finally showed up and mowed the lawn today! Finally. I think our neighbors would have had a heart attack if they didn't show. They've been ringing on our doorbell and leaving notes trying to make sure it was okay for them to send their gardener over. I said it was okay the first time but I suppose they just want to be absolutely sure. Anyhow, the gardeners are supposed to do a 'major' cleanup on Sunday for $280. There is a lot of work to be done out there so I think it is worth it.

A couple weeks back there was a mouse in the front yard on the drive way. It startled me at first but then I noticed it was moving very sluggishly. I was quite surprised by the fact that it did not seem frightened of me. Anyhow, I went back into the house and less than 10 minutes later I peeked out on the balcony to see if the little critter was there. He was but to my surprise he looked as though his head had exploded open. A gory sight indeed. A hundred things were racing through my mind. I thought maybe he had some disease which caused too much pressure in his brain... unlikely. I went back into the house to think about how to clean him off of the drive way. About another 10 minutes pass and I hear Blaine arrive home. I peek my head out on the balcony and proceed to say, "hey look at the dead rat whose.. *GASP*." It was gone, with only a few intestines or so spewed out. Now I was ultra perplexed. Did some sick person come steal it? Doubtful, but still a thought that ran through my head. Blaine suggested it was an animal, we had seen a cat sitting on our front yard one evening when we walked Ralph. Then as we got upstairs into my room, what do we see? A raven munching on the mouse on the neighbor's roof. Anyway, why am I telling this story now? Because today after the gardeners left, I went to the back yard to trim a few plants, only to to startled again by a mouse. Who again was moving sluggish. I noticed that one eye was missing, but that looks like something that was done to him a long time ago because it is healed over. I wonder if the birds are keeping their eyes on him.

On a much brighter note, the 11th Annual Walk for Animals raised over $262,000 for the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA!!! YAY!

In an e-mail to friends today:

"Thanks for helping me raise $200 dollars for the San Diego Humane
Society and SPCA!

Ralph and I woke up at 6:30am and made our way over with Kevin and
Addy to Petco Park in downtown San Diego. When we first got there the
numbers were already up to $150,000!!! Fabulous.

There were several pets and owners walking around 1000+ for sure. It
got crowded and leashes got tangled at times. But we still had a great
time meeting other dogs. We enjoyed our walk and loved checking out
the doggy vendors and events. There were contests such as for "Best
Howler" and for Vienna Sauage bobbing. We came away with a lot of
doggie treats and even a few human goodies. After leaving the walk at
about noon we took our dogs to a Pet Grooming place in Solana Beach.
I've never been there before but Kevin recommended it.

I had a wonderful day, I'll be participating in the Walk for Animals every year!

Here are some pics of our really fun day!

Thanks again for all your support!"

It is cloudy and rainy today. What the heck? This is San Diego not Portland. Anyway, I am waiting for the new gardeners to show up. One of our neighbors whose window looks into the jungle of a backyard we have asked (politely) that we get it mowed as a favor. Very understandble. I had been meaning to find a new gardener who would actually mow the lown and take care of things. Anyway. I have been playing phone tag with them and still have yet to speak with them directly. I told they neighbors to send them right over when they are done at their place. Once they come here I won't have to worry about hearing the door, also I can leave the house. I'm quite tired and would love to take a nap, but I'll just have to do that later. Only 1 and a half days until the Walk for Animals. I'm excited. That reminds me, I need to collect all of my pledge money!

The weather still isn't as lovely and warm as it should be for San Diego - especially for this time of the year!

I just finished completing the ME page for eBay. This is so buyers can read 1 sentence about me. My thought it that the idea behind it is to show that the seller is willing to forfeit some information about themselves, therefore they are legit...?? I don't really know.

Check out my site!
