Last night Blaine took me to the Duran Duran concert at the San Diego Sports Arena. It was a great show. I don't really know their songs that well, but I thought they had a really neat sound.

I haven't listened to Dashboard in a long time. Some of my fav lyrics.

From Dashboard Confessional -

Standard Lines
"Which of the boldface lies will we use? I hope that you're happy you really deserve it. This will be best for us both in the end ..."

This Ruined Puzzle
"I'm buried alive, I'm dying just to be saved, I'm dying here just to be safe. Cause you're gone, I get nothing. You're off with barely a sigh. I never said goodbye."

From Death Cab for Cutie, Tiny Vessels:
"This is the moment that you know that you told [him] that you loved him but you don't. Touch [his] skin and then you think that [he] is beautiful, but he don't mean a thing to me ... California sun cascading down my face ... I wanted to believe that all the words that I was speaking as we moved together in the dark. And all the friends that i was telling ... you said you didn't want to fade but they did and so did I that day. All I see are dark gray clouds in the distance moving closer with every hour. So when you'd asked, "is something wrong?" I think you're DAMNED right there is, but we can't talk about it now. No, we can't talk about it now. So one last touch and then you'll go and we'll pretend that it meant so more. But it was vile and it was cheap.

I know, I'm like a broken record. Once again I can't believe time has flown by so quickly. We're in February already for goodness sakes! I've been quite happily busy with my ebay endeavors among other things. Valentine's Day is fast approaching, hope you men have all gotten something for your lovely ladies!

Okay who wants to hear about chores and work... Onto the fun stuff!!

Superbowl Sunday is the one year anniversary of Blaine and I going to the Cannibal bar (the first time we hung out together at his bar review). Yay! As for viewing he superbowl it seems that everyone is still trying to decide where to watch it. So I'm wondering if it will be at my place since I volunteered it. I've got the bose surround sound system!

In the month of January, I've enjoyed a great walk at Torrey Pines with my relatives/friends/family. I have gone on a cruise with the handsome Blaine. I have enjoyed the Blockbuster movie pass. Where we rented:
*24 -Remainder of Season 1 to be seen (Excellent)
*24 -All of Season 2 (Good)
*24 -All of Season 3 (Disappointing)
*Alias - Disc 1 & 2 (did not finish, we got bored - must have been ruined by 24 being so good)
*Nip/Tuck - All of Season 1 (Very good/Entertaining!)
*The Village (Slow/weird/trying too hard/bad twist)
*Dodgeball (Surprisingly funny)
*Starsky & Hutch (Okay)
*Two Brothers (Tear jerker, cute! Ralph liked it!)
*Alien VS Predator (What I expected)
*The Forgotten (Still need to see it, must have forgot, j/k)

I may even be forgetting some of ones we rented since we acquired the pass. We got the pass on the 10th of January! When there is nothing good on TV, the blockbuster movie pass is the way to go! What a deal, only $14.99 for the first month then 24.99 there after. Especially considering we rented about 28 discs thus far!

ALSO! I've been reading Janet Evanovich novels (I borrowed 2 of NIcole's and I can't stop now!!)

Peace out!
