The semester started last week but classes started this week. Yesterday I made dinner for Blaine and Kevin after work. Its fun working & having school too.

Anyway, Sunday Blaine and I made it to the Carlsbad Outlets where we found him a great pair of Clae shoes from Sun Diego. I also helped Chris get a nice pair too. They have a San Sai Restaurant in the Carlsbad outlets! Blaine and I love the one between Misson and Fashion Valley. The people working there know us by our order of soft shell crab roll. Yum that place is great. We later went to North County Mall where I got myself some nice Roxy sandals from Sun Diego. Afterwards we actually made it back to Valley View casino where Blaine won 20 bucks off the 20 bucks of slot play they gave him and I won 4 dollars from the 20 slot play they gave me. We also went away with free buffets. We didn't stuff ourselves this time because we knew there would be a winding road back home. Though their buffet was much smaller than the Las Vegas sized ones I am used to or even the Barona one... they had pretty decent food. Freshly baked pizza from fresh dough. Surprisingly delicious.

Been trying to get together with my friend Kevin for dinner to thank him for watching Ralph while I was away last weekend. Thanks Kevin for watching Ralphie! I've cooked quite a few great meals this week! Too bad we haven't been able to get a hold of you. Seems like we're constantly playing phone tag.

Well the Jackpot for the Cal Super Lotto Plus was at 100 million today. I ended up getting 3 tickets, 2 of my own number and 1 quickpick. Blaine and I also went to Valley View Indian Casino because od these coupons we had in the mail. If you join the players club then you get a buffet and also 20 bucks of free slot play. Anyway, somehow on the way between the gas station and getting in the line of the players club the coupons disappeared from my purse. The customer service people wouldn't give us the promotion. They offered us something like rack up 500 points for 20 bucks of slot play and then 3 bucks off the 15 dollar buffet. Yah right. Anyway, we ended up leaving because the Casino seemed small and unworth it anyway. They're stupid, they should have given us the promotion to get us to join. Anyway, Barona is better. Besides, we [me and B] got to go home and watch the Olymipics, have dinner with Chris (he's back for a while) and talk to my folks on the phone.

For the month of August.
It has been a full and eventful month for me. Where to begin? I can only give approximate dates because I can't even remember...

August 13th: Sasha P has a meeting in San Diego and comes to visit me for the night. Blaine and I take her downtown to Sushi Itto, whose service is extremely slow! We get tickets for free cover for E Street Alley which had pretty bad music and was quite empty. We still had fun with each other though. Red Circles next door looked like it was much better.

Augst 18th: Outlet shopping in Camarillo, lunch at Eric Ericcsons in Ventura, arrive at the Portola Plaza hotel in downtown Monterey. Tons of neat cars around because of the Ferreri convention going on at the same hotel!!

Blaine's crazy USD law school schedule kicks in...
August 23rd: Back to work and after work, deposit paycheck. Get groceries and make Blaine dinner from scratch a beef curry (yum).
August 24th: Get back to the SDSU gym (new machines are crap)
